As the Chief Executive of Silverchain Group, Dale leads Australia’s premier in-home care specialist, where she oversees a remarkable operation that touches the lives of over 140,000 clients each year. Under her guidance, more than 5,800 dedicated professionals come together to provide holistic health and aged care, embodying her vision to revolutionize not only how care is delivered but also how it is experienced.

Her journey didn’t begin here. With a strong foundation in business—holding both a Bachelor of Business and an MBA—Dale has long been a beacon of strategic and innovative thinking. Her academic pursuits continued, as she shares her wealth of knowledge as an Adjunct Professor at both Monash University and Swinburne University, where she inspires future leaders in public health and research.

Before leading Silverchain, Dale made significant strides as the Chief Executive of Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, shaping it into Australia’s largest cancer center and a global leader in translational cancer research. Under her leadership, the center established vital international collaborations with acclaimed institutions such as Dana-Farber in Boston and MD Anderson in Texas, creating pathways to better cancer care worldwide.

Her earlier role as Chief Executive of the Royal Women’s Hospital was equally transformative. There, she redefined the hospital’s identity, ensuring that it stood as a pillar of specialized care for women. Her efforts led to the creation of the first Centre for Women’s Mental Health in Australia, a significant step in prioritizing mental health in women’s healthcare.

Dale’s impressive career has garnered her numerous accolades, culminating in her recent appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia in June 2023. This honor reflects her three decades of unwavering leadership in health care, dedicated to enhancing the quality and accessibility of services for all Australians. She is also a proud member of Chief Executive Women, representing Australia’s most distinguished female leaders, and has been recognized in the Victorian Honour Roll and the Australian Financial Review’s list of 100 Women of Influence.

In 2020, Dale expanded her influence further as part of the Advisory Council for the Western Australian Future Health Research and Innovation Fund. Just a year later, she joined the Future of Health, a global community of health leaders, academics, and policymakers dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare on an international scale.

Dale’s journey is a testament to her belief that healthcare can be different—more inclusive, innovative, and compassionate. She continues to lead with a spirit of collaboration, always looking forward to a future where quality care is accessible to everyone, guided by the insights of research and the voices of those she serves.
